Who I Am
Bearded Axe is the moniker of Joseph Stasio; graphic and web artist, audio engineer, and musician. I'm a graduate of Rowan University with a degree in Management Information Systems. I'm pursuing a non-specific creative career and avoiding work I wasn't built to do. I believe the same applies to you; we're all geared for something.
What I Do
My services include a variety of different product offerings. I try to take on projects that benefit other artists: with this in mind, I seek work with visual artists, musicians, bands, poets, sketchers, novelists and instrumental instructors. Common projects include album artwork, websites, myspace layouts, and even audio production. If you label yourself the creative type and want to avoid contract work with design firms and large corporations, you and I are likely a good fit. I'd love to help you take your project to the next level.
How I Work
Starting a project with me means immediately determining your exact needs. For instance, website work requires a preliminary outline and requirements-list of the final site; this keeps the cost of your project to a minimum and helps me deliver a final product in a timely manner. If I'm mixing your newly recorded album, the same rules apply: together, we'd determine the sound you want (compared to other artists you like or even a specific sound you're aspiring to) and take the session from there. As long as you provide me with what I need to finish your project, turn-around times are timely and inexpensive. I'd hate to delay the release of your record because your new website is still under construction or because the mix needs more tinkering.
